Hi! 👋 My name is Ellena, and I am a first-year M.S. Computer Science student at Columbia University and a graduate student researcher at AlQuraishi Lab. Previously, I completed my B.Sc. in Computer Science with distinction at the University of Vienna.

I am passionate about machine learning and its applications to solve scientific problems. Specifically, my research interests lie at the intersection of machine learning and molecular biology. Currently, I am working on generative models for protein design at AlQuraishi Lab.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, taking dance classes and playing board games with friends and family.
