Hi! 👋 My name is Ellena, and I am a M.S. Computer Science student at Columbia University and a graduate student researcher at AlQuraishi Lab. Previously, I completed my B.Sc. in Computer Science with distinction at the University of Vienna.

I am passionate about machine learning and its applications in structural biology and drug discovery. What excites me most is the tangible positive impact this research can have on human health! Currently, I am working on generative models for protein design at AlQuraishi Lab.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, crocheting and playing board games with friends and family.
